What do you mean by structural rolling?

Structural rolling is an effective way to bend metal at lower costs. It uses pre-made dies, and according to need, their shape and dimension can be changed. Its also referred to as shape or profile rolling. It requires structural steel passing through a rolling mill to bend or shape the metal while maintaining a non-stop cross-section.

Profile rolling techniques are used in structural shape rolling where the metal piece is passed through a sequence of flatteners (of larger magnitude than most common rolling devices) that goes with the work pieces' cross-section. The most common process uses three rollers; here, the bending is managed by changing the distance between the rollers.
